Late summer tour takes place around Keula On Sunday the 8th of September at 10 o'clock the geo-park guide Jürgen Siegemund invites to a three-hour hike to Krauschwitz-Ost. This leads through the southeastern part of the Muskauer Faltenbogen. From Petras Eiscafe, Muskauer Str.19, the tour leads past the church, through an old mining area with Adriatic Sea and Bomkeschacht, along the grounds of the shooting club, on a former route of the forest railway to the nature reserve Hammerlugk. The dammed raft coming from Weißkeißel forms a diverse biotope on a wetland with the fairytale alder quarry. Continue in the direction of the Keulaer Tiergarten through the forest area of the Drachenberge to Feller's garden park. There, the owners Rosi and Peter Feller await the hikers and allow you to visit this gem in the Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen. Then it goes back to the starting point of the hike. The contribution is three euros per person. Junitour to the Lachbergen On Sunday, 16 June at 10 clock, the Geoparkführer Jürgen Siegemund invites you to a three-hour hike through the northern Neißetal in the Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen. The goal is Pusack in the municipality Neisse-Malxetal. The tour begins at the Parkstadthotel in Bad Muskau / Köbeln and leads past the former Feinpapierfabrik Kömag, through the Malentza and above the Föhrenfließes along to the Lach mountains. These are part of the Jerischker Endmoräne, a mountain and gorge landscape with a lush deciduous tree population and the wild and romantic Grenzerquelle. The return tour leads through the nature reserve Zerna, along the Lusatian Neisse to the starting point of the hike. The contribution is three euros per person. Maitour through the Neißetal On 19th May at 10 o'clock the geo-park guide Jürgen Siegemund invites to a three-hour hike through the Polish part of the Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen. The destination is the village Bronowice / Braunsdorf with the former Dominion from the time of the domination Muskau. The tour begins at the Town Hall of Bad Muskau leads over the English Bridge over old Köbeln on the former way to school of the children Köbelner to the destination of the hike. The way back takes you through the Kastanienallee and other parts of the park Muzakowski to the starting point of the tour. The contribution is three euros per person. Easter walk in the Geopark On 22.April at 10.30 o'clock the geo-park guide Jürgen Siegemund invites to a tour through the area of the former alum mine in the mountain park of Bad Muskau. Alaunton was extracted from the Muskauer Faltenbogen for almost 300 years and alum salt was extracted there. After completion of the dismantling in the 1860s, the then Park and Garden Inspector Eduard Petzold began to recultivate the Bergbaufolge landscape. Today this terrain belongs to the bizarre canyon landscape of the Bergpark. Rarely walked paths and paths as well as partly no longer existing historical sites are on the route of the tour. This begins and ends at the breakpoint of the forest railway in Badepark Bad Muskau. The contribution is three euros per person.
